my latest school visit, spoke to grades 3, 4 & 5’s.

My beautiful cards and pencils I received after my talk yesterday. This was the feedback from one of the beautiful teachers there..

Thank so much for today. The kids couldn’t stop talking about you and didn’t want to leave at the end. The other teachers had so much praise for how wonderful your presentation was. We couldn’t get over how involved they were. I wish my kids were that interested in listening to me, haha. Thanks again, you certainly have a talent for sharing your message.

Teachers do an amazing job and don’t get enough credit for what they do..15027868_1240938849261648_8792170644901555833_n

Toowoomba Rotaract group

This week I had the pleasure of speaking with the Toowoomba Rotaract group. It was a lot of fun.

Some of their feedback was: Thanks so much Trish for showing us that we can do anything we put our minds to, no matter what anyone else says! The feedback has all been positive. You truly inspired our club and showed us what resilience and gratitude is!  You gave everyone a lot to think about and really inspired all of us. 🙂

Minimbah school with Mark Ryan MP.

This week I spoke to the grade 6’s at Minimbah State school. I was honoured to have up on the stage with me Mark Ryan MP.  Mark showed us what a good sport he is, by participating in trying to write with his feet like I do. In my talks I usually get the students to have a go at writing with their feet, it is great fun.

I was trying to help Mark by holding the paper still.

This is what Mark wrote “Thanks Trish”. A great effort by Mark but had he been secretly practicing?

I have just come back from doing two school talks in the Toowoomba region totaling nearly 200 students all up. I also spoke to the Lockyer Valley Rotary club, where I had a lovely evening with the club and they thoroughly enjoyed my talk and they said, it is one of the best presentations that they had had. I can’t thank them enough for such high praise.
Unfortunately I was to do two more school talks but I lost my voice so I will have to reschedule the schools when I get my voice back.
